Foix is situated in the foothills of the Pyrénées, on the Route Nationale 20 between Pamiers and Tarascon.  'Chapeliers’ is less than 2 minutes’ drive from the RN20.  Many hire cars have GPS fitted as standard.  Our GPS coordinates are as follows: Latitude 42.9666 & Longitude 1.6055 or Latitude 42 degrees 58 mins North & Longitude 1 degree 36.3 mins East.  Set your Sat Nav to 12 rue du Palais de Justice for our car park entrance.

Here are the old fashioned directions, which are usually more reliable:

1: At Foix, cross the Ariège by the Pont Vieux and take the first road on the right (Rue de Rival) signposted 'Prefecture' and 'Chateau', continue downhill, around the bend and uphill (the castle will come into view). 

2: With the St Volusien Church on your right and the covered market on your left, carry straight on

3: into Rue du Palais de Justice (ignoring the no entry sign).  About 50 metres up on the left is a large green metal gate, behind which is

4: Chapeliers' private car park. The gate will be unlocked if we are expecting you.
