Foix is a long way from Calais by car (approx 1050kms). As the crow flies, it is south of Paris, almost as far as you can go before Spain. Please note that flight destinations and timetables change throughout the year according to the season and demand. The list below is correct as at March 2010. The easiest way to get to us is to hire a car from Carcassonne airport, turn right out of the exit and then you are on the road to Foix.
We highly recommend car hire to explore the beautiful Ariège.
There is no public transport to the Cathar sites.
