The quiet village of Sahuc is situated at 750 metres looking south towards the Pyrénées. The nearest shops/bakery are about 10 minutes away. Foix with its wide choice of restaurants is about 20 minutes away. A number of walking routes pass through the village and the Barguillère valley and the Col des Marrous are a cyclists' paradise.

LE PETIT CHAPEAU (our gite/holiday home) sits at the top of the village of Sahuc. The house is suitable for two couples or a family of four. It has a well equipped lounge with a wood burning stove, TV and DVD player; the dining area has a full size dining table and sideboard. Steps lead down to a separate breakfasting kitchen, equipped with a full sized electric oven with gas (bottled) hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridgefreezer, kettle and all usual equipment. There is also a wood burning stove in the kitchen. There is a utility area adjoining the kitchen with washing machine, wash basin and separate toilet. Upstairs there are two large (16 and 20 square metre) twin bedded rooms and a bathroom newly fitted with shower, basin and toilet. The large south and east facing garden is equipped with a permanent barbecue for catering on the many warm Spring, Summer and Autumn days.

We ask for an additional caution fee per booking which we shall refund within 4 weeks of your departure. | | | You can reserve Le Petit Chapeau Saturday to Saturday, arriving after 4pm and departing by 10am. Please telephone or e-mail in advance to ensure availability. We shall then send you a booking form for you to complete, sign and return with your payment or, at least, the deposit of 25%. On receipt of this your booking is then considered to be firm. Provisional bookings are only held for 7 days after we have posted the booking form to you. Full payment is due no later than 8 weeks prior to your stay. | |
